Youth @ The Hills Church
"Know God. Love Others. Live the Gospel." These are our fundamental goals and mission for the Youth @ The Hills Church.  What we dream of and drive for is for the youth of our church to move into adulthood as committed followers of Christ who are sound thinkers and deep lovers of God and the Gospel. We long to see our youth engage our culture for Christ, bringing hope and redemption no matter where they live and work. We believe the family is the most formative context in a youth's life. Thus, we believe parental engagement is an essential part of youth ministry, critical to youth becoming life-long, committed followers of Christ. Ultimately, we desire to see God glorified and the Gospel lived out in individual lives, in families, and in the church.

Our youth group ranges from 7th to 12th grade and regularly meets in Thrasher Hall on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night. We also have annual events like Summer Youth Camp where we spend a week together as a group focusing on growing in Christ and worship God, and our Fall Disciple Now, a weekend spent together in host homes with college students who lead in Bible study, games, and recreation. We also do service projects together such as working at a children's home, visiting a nursing home, and assisting in other church ministries.

For the safety of our youth, all adults involved in discipleship and working with our youth have background checks performed at regular intervals.

Raising a Teen
